The Challenge

We love setting friendship goals. When we commit to a goal together, we are 110% more likely to actually achieve our goal (shout out to our fellow obligers!). Friendship goals have inspired us to do things like get up in the morning and run (which Lisa would never have done by herself) and get dating apps (which neither of us are currently using, but likely will again). While (happily) sitting at home on a Saturday night, we decided it was time for another friendship goal. A goal to get us outside of our comfort zone (sitting at home in our basement living room together alone with very little desire to invite others over or go out and socialize).

The Challenge:
Each of us must, individually, have a minimum of 1 conversation with a stranger per week. The conversation should be a minimum of 3 minutes long (approximately...we have social prowess and will not be pulling out a timer to actually time our conversations).

The Goal:
The purpose of this challenge is to help us meet new people. Maybe we'll make new friends. Maybe we'll network our way to dream jobs. Maybe we'll find love. Maybe we'll be better instruments in God's hands to serve others. Who knows?

We will each document our 1 Stranger A Week conversation in this blog. Join us for the journey!
